You can rent a car in Curaçao from the age of 21. However, the choice of models is then limited. Most rental companies rent from the age of 23 years, possibly with a surcharge. Occasionally, certain models require that you have had a valid driver's license for at least two years.

You are 18, 19 or 20 years old

You are 21 or 22 years old
When you are 21 or 22 years old it's nearly impossible to rent a car in Curaçao. There will be a few rental car companies who offer you a limited choice in models. Also you have to pay a young drivers surcharge.
You are between 23 and 65 years old
From the age of 23, you can rent a car from any rental company and you can choose from all models. There are rental companies that charge a surcharge of around $12 (€10) per day until the age of 26. Sometimes an additional requirement is that you need to have a valid driver's license for at least 2 years.
You are over 65 years old
You can rent a car at most rental companies till the age of 81. Some companies impose additional conditions and charge an age surcharge. Most models of cars can be rented without surcharge. Read the terms and conditions of the rental company of your choice to learn if there will be a surcharge.
